Debian Sarge Freeze Is Now Official

Debian -- The Universal Operating System

According to Debian Planet, the Sarge freeze(finally) is now official and a May 30 release date has been set.
The timeline for the release is as follows:

3rd May: Freeze time and security support now available for testing
5-8th May: BSP to bring bug count down from ~85 to ~60/70
15th May: Debian installer finalised
27th May: Zarro RC boogs
30th May: Release

It’s great news for our favourite linux distribution ;)

    Debian Sarge is now frozen!

    Sembra che finalmente la nuova stable di Debian sia in dirittura d’arrivo, e’ notizia di un paio di ore fa infatti, che la versione testing codename Sarge e’ stata definitivamente messa in stato “freeze”, ovvero da adesso in poi non ci saranno piu…
